We’ve had a quiet week, now the spring severe weather season will be returning to Kansas. There is at least some chance for thunderstorms in Kansas starting tomorrow through most of next week and perhaps into the weekend. SPC notes severe risk areas for central Kansas Sunday, for central and eastern Kansas Monday, and for south central and southeast Kansas Tuesday.

Forecasters indicate there will be potential for severe storms later in the week, but in multi-day events we gain less certainty of outcome with each day we progress into the event. We’ll be monitoring the situation and updating as needed.
