Scattered showers and isolated storms will continue to linger across the area today. The trough that’s causing the showers will move east tonight, bringing rain to an end for almost 24 hours. High pressure takes over for daytime tomorrow, but another system is following closely — by tomorrow night rain chances return and last through Thursday. On Wednesday, we can’t rule out a low-end severe storm or two, but the probability of that happening is pretty low.
