We expect fairly quiet weather through Saturday, with the potential for increasing rain/storm chances by Sunday-Monday.
Mostly above normal temperatures are expected, most pronounced as we head into Friday and Saturday. Under sunny skies, high temperatures will be about 5-10 degrees warmer than normal today in the low to mid 80s. Temperature-wise, we’ll see a slight cool down tomorrow with readings dipping a bit more Wednesday into the mid and upper 70s.
A cutoff upper low is expected to develop across the lower Mississippi River valley tonight and tomorrow. Lobes of weak-modest upper energy rotating in from the east, in concert with increasing moisture could support a smattering of isolated showers across far eastern Kansas both tomorrow and Wednesday afternoons.
