Skies will clear out across the region overnight, with temps overnight falling to near 5. High pressure moves overhead as the night goes on, which means winds will go calm, so there should not be much in the way of a wind chill.
The warming trend gets going on Friday, with highs breaking above freezing for the first time since Monday night and lots of sunshine, highs make it to near 35. We’ll see a mix of clouds and stars Friday night as a third upper disturbance moves to our south, with lows near 15. The warmup kicks into high gear Saturday, with sunny skies, will be about 10 degrees warmer than Friday, with highs in the mid 40s. More sunshine is expected Sunday, with highs near 60.
Next week will see highs in the mid 60s to near 70 for most of the week, but a cold front will make its way southward by the end of the week and there could be a few showers and storms with it.
