(Checks Calendar) Grumble, grumble…yes, it’s April, in spite of feeling like March. April 2024 is continuing its trend of wanting to disguise itself as other months, and this weekend the choice is March — after more than two weeks of May-like temperatures. Light rain is possible north today, most locations stay dry and those who do get rain will see less than a tenth of an inch. The cool temps persist through the weekend, though Sunday will be warmer than today and tomorrow, and will begin a warming trend back to more April-like 60’s and 70’s. Gulf moisture will begin to stream northward as the week starts, and some model solutions are indicating the chance for severe weather Thursday and possibly Friday.
