KSStorm.Info Briefing: May 24, 2022

It sure is nice to see green in the forecast maps, showing rainfall expected across the entire state. Some flooding possible, but form most the rainfall will be a good soaking...not a drought buster in the west but it will help some.

Widespread showers and some thunder are expected through much of the day, with the heaviest rainfall this morning into the early afternoon hours before things start to taper off west of K-14. Along and east of I-135, rain should persist into the evening, perhaps into the overnight. Grey skies and some sprinkles or showers are expected overnight and the first half of tomorrow before the slow-moving low lumbers east into the Ozarks. Cool temperatures remain through Thursday, then much warmer conditions are expected into the holiday weekend.

Forecast rainfall through 1am Wednesday
