Today’s weather story is all about the heat. We’ll be some 20 degrees above normal today; in fact morning lows are going to be within a few degrees of normal highs for this time of year. Gusty south wind will also be part of the picture, and where we did not see significant rain last week there will be concerns about grassland fire risk.
The heat remains with us to some extent through the weekend, but today and tomorrow are likely to be the warmest days. Thursday could see a few storms, even a severe storm or two, and there are a few chances for rain this weekend.
