A cool day is on tap with clouds through about mid-day, then some clearing this afternoon. Clouds build again overnight, and we still look to be on track for some much-needed soaking rain. In fact, some areas could see minor flooding as 1-3 inch totals are expected over much of Kansas tomorrow. We can’t completely rule out a pulse-type sever storm, but the chance is very low.

ks swody2Wrap-around moisture on Thursday bring more chances for light rain before clearing late-day.

Here is one model’s total rainfall forecast through 7pm Thursday:

The weekend still looks great, with seasonal temperatures and sunny sky. Sunday and Monday could be somewhat breezy.
