KSStorm.Info Briefing: March 24, 2022

A great several days as we head toward the end of March.

We should finally get rid of the stubborn cloudiness today as the upper level low that’s held on the past several days finally dislodges to our east. Expect mostly sunny and seasonal conditions today through Saturday, with comfortable highs in the upper 50’s and low 60’s. A strong warming trend starts Sunday, but really takes hold Monday through Wednesday with highs at or above 80 the first half of the week. Models continue to have strong disagreement about the evolution of a system that comes ashore Sunday, with one set pushing the system eventually south into Mexico and the Gulf, while the other set forecasts an evolution that would give us healthy chances for rain and even a severe storm or two.
