A variety of weather is affecting Kansas this morning, and as the low pressure system begins its exit today we’ll see all of it pull off to the east. Areas along and west of Highway 281 are seeing snowfall this morning, with rain continuing to the east of 281. Here are current winter advisories and warnings:

It’ll be windy today, especially along and west of I-135. Here are the highest forecast wind gusts for today:

Tomorrow will be much quieter, other than the wind, which will remain in the breezy category. The warm-up begins in earnest Thursday, and by Sunday we’re back in to the upper 70’s to around 80. Some chances for precipitation return to start next week.
