KSStorm.Info Briefing: March 14, 2022

Mild and dry conditions across Kansas through late-week. We'll see chances for rain on Thursday, then a dry and pleasant weekend. First chance for strong to severe storms first part of next week.

Temperatures this week will still be a bit up and down, but we’re definitely seeing a more spring-like pattern starting to settle in. This time of the year we should be running in the mid-50’s for highs and we believe we’ll be at or above that all week long. We’re still not getting a lot of Gulf moisture in, so the air remains dry through Thursday. Then we could see some rain late becoming mixed with snow overnight. The weekend looks nice, and a strong system due into the plains Monday or Tuesday could bring our first marginally-severe storms of the year.
