Pretty tame weather across Kansas for the next six or seven days, with mild temps and lots of sunshine.
An upper-air disturbance will move south of the Kansas region overnight, but will be close enough to throw some clouds into southern and eastern Kansas. This will keep temps from getting as cold as they could, with readings by morning in the low to mid teens with a light wind.
Our warmup hits another gear this weekend with lots of sunshine and light winds. Highs Saturday in the mid to upper 40s, and temps Sunday in the upper 50s to lower 60s.
The warmup continues full steam ahead for next week, with highs in the 60s to near 70 degrees through Friday. There does appear to be a chance for precip next weekend, as we begin to return to a more active pattern on the Plains.
